Abstract: In this article, we analyze whether the concept of military victory in this 21st century can be considered a current idea, by defining the aspects of current wars. It aims at the need to limit the expectations as to achieving the goals set exclusively by the political power by means of military resources and encourages a multidisciplinary approach to address the complex dynamics that war presented during the first decades of this century.
